Richard Harvey conducts research within both social psychology and industrial-organizational psychology. Research themes include collective identity (e.g., racial, organizational); stigma and prejudice; evaluation and measurement; and teaching scholarship. Professor Harvey also provides professional consultation in the areas of program evaluation, organizational assessment, diversity, and performance management.
Richard Harvey has teaching interests in advanced social psychology, advanced organizational psychology, social psychology, the psychology of oppression, industrial psychology, psychological statistics, and the psychology of prejudice. He has won three "Teacher of the Year" awards at Saint Louis University.
